To ensure food security of
the vulnerable women NJ has started Vulnerable Group Development Program (VGD)
in Srinagar and Tongibari Upazilas of Munshigonj district with the assistant of
Department of Women Affairs (DWA). Under this program, we are providing support
to 2408 vulnerable women to enhance their skills for starting income generation
in the project area. Apart from this, we are also creating awareness among the
target beneficiaries through conducting training. We have conducted training on
Personal Health Care, Aware Rising, Income Generation, Farming of Agriculture of
2408 beneficiaries during the reporting period.
Apart from this, the beneficiaries also depositing savings in their own
account in the bank in weekly basis.
