As mentioned earlier that Satkhira is a costal and
cyclones prone area, Every year numbers of houses and schools are destroying by
natural calamities. As a result, huge number of people lost their house/shelter
in the project area. Nobo Jibon has come forward to provide support to victims
for rebuilt their houses through rehabilitant program funded by Grihayan
Tahabil of Bangladesh Bank. Under this programme, we have constructed 50 houses
for the affected poor and distress people during the reporting period and about
200 poor and shelter less peoples benefited from this program.
